Natalie Smith

After leaving performing arts college (Laine Theatre Arts) at 19 with my ISTD Associate/FDI teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern and Tap, i embarked on my career as a Professional Dancer for over 15 years dancing for artists including Take That, Whitney Houston, Elton John, Robbie Williams,Olly Murs, Kanye West, X Factor, Dancing On Ice, Top of the Pops and much more. I later progressed into choreography and became the Assistant Choreographer for girlband 'The Saturdays', 'Surprise Surprise' (ITV), Take Me Out (ITV) and Children In Need (BBC).

It was during my dance career that i discovered Pilates. I not only enjoyed it and felt energised after but it had huge benefits to me as a dancer, increasing my core strength and flexibility aswell as increasing muscle strength whilst keeping my body lean and toned.

In 2013 i became a STOTT Certified Matwork Instructor and straight after went on to complete my Advanced Matwork. Im very excited about furthering my Pilates education in the future. I want others to feel the benefits of Pilates as i have and try to make my classes effective, educational and most of all fun!
